Practical resources for organizations looking to strengthen technology capacity without placing the entire burden on their operating budget.

The Inclusion Forward Community License is free for qualifying organizations.

But software licensing isn't always the only barrier.

Making the Community License free removes one barrier. Implementation capacity can still be another.

Implementation, training, integrations, staff capacity and ongoing technical support may still require resources.

Ways Organizations May Fund Technology Capacity

    Grants & Capacity-Building Funding

    Foundations, government programs and philanthropic organizations sometimes support technology modernization, organizational capacity, reporting infrastructure and digital transformation.

    Corporate Sponsorship

    Businesses and philanthropic partners may choose to support technology capacity for nonprofit organizations as part of broader community-impact initiatives.

    Technology Grants & Credits

    Technology providers sometimes offer qualifying nonprofits software, cloud credits, advertising credits, discounts or technical assistance.

    Technology credits are not the same as cash funding and generally cannot be used to pay outside vendors unless a program specifically permits it.

    Organizational Funding

    Depending on the funding source and applicable restrictions, organizations may sometimes include implementation, training or technology-support costs within approved operating, administrative, capacity-building or program budgets.

    Organizations should confirm permitted uses with the applicable funder or financial advisor.
