Organizational Status Notice
Inclusion Forward Initiative is an impact transparency and community participation platform developed and operated by Empowered Solutions. It is not a charitable fund, a nonprofit organization, or a payment processor, and it does not solicit or receive tax-deductible charitable contributions. Participating organizations retain authority over their own accounts, funds, and financial decisions.
1. Use of the Platform
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials associated with your use of the Platform.
2. Donations
All donations made through the Platform are voluntary and, except where required otherwise by law or as otherwise stated at the time of donation, are non-refundable. Donation receipts will be provided for tax purposes where applicable. We make reasonable efforts to ensure funds are used consistently with our stated mission, but we retain discretion over the allocation of undesignated funds.
Payment processor integration (Stripe) is available to organizations by request only. It is entirely optional and is never a condition of using the Community License or any of the platform's core features.
3. Voting and Community Features
The Platform may include features that allow supporters to vote on or engage with funding initiatives. Participation in these features does not guarantee that any particular initiative will be funded, and we retain final discretion over funding decisions.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its underlying systems
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the Platform
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is the property of Inclusion Forward Initiative or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws, unless otherwise noted.
The Platform's underlying software, source code, technical architecture, and system design are the copyrighted property of Inclusion Forward Initiative. All rights reserved. No portion of the underlying application may be copied, reverse-engineered, or redistributed without express written permission.
Licensing for Mission-Aligned Organizations: Inclusion Forward Initiative is open to licensing this platform's underlying technology to other like-minded nonprofit organizations seeking to adopt radical transparency and community-driven decision-making in their own operations. 6. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inclusion Forward Initiative shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Inclusion Forward Initiative is organized, without regard to conflict of law principles.
